TTC - Ride with Respect

With technology playing such a huge impact on our world, we believe that the use of phones have been a negative impact on social etiquette. There are areas in our everyday lives where it is appropriate to use the phone and when not to. More specifically, we wanted to highlight and focus on the privacy of people’s lives in public transit areas.

Don’t Be A Creep - Ride With Respect.

The TTC is introducing stronger cellular service on trains, giving riders more ways to stay connected. But with greater access comes the risk of misuse, especially when it comes to cameras and social media. Today, it is common for people to snap photos or videos of strangers without consent, often for jokes, memes, or posts. This concept reframes privacy as a fellow passenger, showing that privacy is not abstract, it is riding right beside you. By personifying privacy, the campaign makes the issue relatable. It reminds riders that just because you have service and a camera doesn’t mean you have permission.
